An educational and ecosystem-restoration project: a mini-forest created using the Miyawaki method within the grounds of the F. Montanari Secondary School in Mirandola.
The new mini-forest is an opportunity to regenerate a small portion of the forest ecosystem in the town of Mirandola, with the careful use of native plants, selected and planted according to the criteria of Japanese botanist Akira Miyawaki's method and the principles of ecological design.
The project also includes the creation of an outdoor classroom within the forest, for educational purposes but also as a tool to establish a connection between young students and nature, with the aim of training and inspiring future “caretakers” of nature.
Project: 2023
Status: Inaugurated in December 2025
